COMP335 Final Idea
Proposed group project for the COMP335 final.
SetlistSync: Shared Charts & Rehearsal Hub
SetlistSync is a collaborative web app where bands keep setlists, chord charts, song keys, and rehearsal takes in one place. Members upload sheet music or charts, set the working key for each song, and attach practice recordings so the whole group learns the same arrangement before the gig.
The app would also offer AI-assisted lyric and timing cues that align words to rehearsal audio, making it easier to learn parts without turning into a full lyric-video product. The team would build a Bootstrap grid UI, a REST API for bands, songs, and takes, and a database for roles and setlist order. Stretch goals include key transpose helpers, comments on specific measures, and a live view of tonight's set for the stage.
